Salon des Arts – Where art comes to life in Oisterwijk
From 26 September to 5 October 2025, Van Loon Galleries will be organising the Salon des Arts exhibition at Hotel de Leijhof in Oisterwijk. More than 30 renowned artists – including seven new ones – will be presenting their latest works: from painting and sculpture to glass art and photography. Visitors can enjoy art free of charge, talk to the artists in person and indulge in culinary delights at Restaurant The George.

Hand-sculpted figurative art made from a single wire sheet
A ’Begbie sculpture’ is never moulded – a unique semi-transparent artwork with its own character.
Each wire sculpture is modelled using very own (self-made) tools and ’fixed’ joining each wire intersection, so that the artwork is robust and stable for posterity.
